What Veeam Is Best Suited For
Server and Virtual Machine Backup
Protect VMware, Hyper-V, physical servers, and cloud workloads from a single management environment.
ExploreRecovery of Files, VMs, Mailboxes, or Services
Restore individual objects when needed instead of recovering the entire infrastructure.
ExploreMicrosoft 365 Backup
Dedicated protection for email, files, and documents in Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
ExploreImmutable Backup for Ransomware Recovery
Maintain backups that cannot be overwritten or deleted after an incident.
ExploreOffsite Backup / Backup Copy
Copy backups to another repository, the cloud, or S3-compatible object storage.
ExploreRecovery Assessment and Testing
Veeam supports automated verification to confirm that backups are recoverable.
ExploreVeeam Solutions We Implement
Veeam Backup & Replication
Backup and recovery for virtual, physical, and cloud workloads - the foundation of most Veeam projects.
ExploreVeeam Backup for Microsoft 365
Protect Microsoft 365 data: Microsoft is responsible for service availability, while recovering your data after deletion or an incident remains the company's responsibility.
ExploreImmutable Backup
Backups protected from modification or deletion for a defined period - a key element of ransomware resilience.
ExploreBackup Copy and Offsite Storage
Store copies at another site, in the cloud, or on object / S3-compatible storage.
ExploreMonitoring and Reporting
Track backup job status, errors, storage capacity, and recovery readiness.
ExploreHow we can help
Assesment
We review your current backup environment, critical systems, and data.
Recovery Objectives
We define RPO/RTO targets and retention policies based on actual business requirements.
Design
We design the backup architecture and select appropriate storage for backup copies.
Implementation
We deploy Veeam and configure backup jobs, immutable backups, and offsite copies.
Support
We perform recovery tests, prepare documentation, and support the environment after go-live.
Typical Use Cases
Building a Backup Architecture from Scratch
We design and implement backup for organizations where it is either missing or has grown without a consistent strategy.
ExploreAssessment of an Existing Veeam Environment
We review what is being backed up, how it is protected, whether backups are actually recoverable, and what should be improved.
ExploreMicrosoft 365 Backup
We configure dedicated protection for email, files, and documents, with recovery after deletion or an incident.
ExploreImmutable Backup for Ransomware Recovery
We configure immutable copies so there is a reliable recovery point after an attack.
ExploreWhy Work with NEOLA
We design backup architecture around real business-critical systems, not simply around a checklist of backup jobs.
We treat virtualization, Microsoft 365, storage, cloud, networking, and security as one integrated environment.
We test recovery in practice instead of stopping once backup jobs are configured.
F.A.Q.
Clear answers before we start
-
Why does a business need Veeam?
To protect data and restore it quickly after an outage, human error, hardware failure, or ransomware attack. Veeam protects virtual, physical, cloud, and Microsoft 365 environments and supports granular recovery of files, machines, or services. -
What can Veeam protect?
Virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V), physical servers and workstations (Windows, Linux), cloud workloads, and Microsoft 365 data such as email, files, and documents. We identify which systems and data are critical during the assessment. -
Do you need backup for Microsoft 365?
In many cases, yes. Microsoft is responsible for service availability, but recovering your data after deletion, user error, or ransomware often remains the company's responsibility, especially beyond standard retention periods. -
What is immutable backup?
It is a backup that cannot be modified or deleted for a defined period. Even if an attacker gains access to the infrastructure, the protected copy cannot be overwritten, making immutability an important part of ransomware resilience. -
Can Veeam help after a ransomware attack?
Yes. Veeam can restore data from clean backups. If a valid recovery point is available - especially an immutable one - data can be restored to a state before encryption. Veeam does not prevent the attack itself; it provides a way to recover afterward. -
What determines the cost of Veeam?
The number of workloads and Microsoft 365 users, data volume and growth, retention period, storage choice, the need for offsite and immutable copies, RPO/RTO targets, and the support level. We assess these factors first and then define the configuration and budget. -
When is backup enough, and when do you need a disaster recovery scenario?
Backup may be sufficient when the business can tolerate recovery taking several hours or days and can accept some data loss between backup points. If the time required to restore specific services is also critical, a disaster recovery scenario should be planned as well. We determine the right approach during the RPO/RTO assessment.
