for Security
What Fortinet Can Help You Achieve
Enterprise network perimeter security
Control traffic at the boundary between the internal network and the internet, with threat filtering.
ExploreReplacing an outdated firewall
Move to FortiGate when the current device can no longer handle the load or no longer receives security updates.
ExploreVPN for branches and remote users
Secure connections between sites and protected access for employees working outside the office.
ExploreSecure SD-WAN for offices and branches
Manage multiple internet connections, provide link redundancy, and prioritize critical traffic.
ExploreNetwork segmentation and access control
Divide the network into zones and define who can access which resources.
ExploreLogging, reporting, and centralized management
Collect security events and manage policies from a single point.
ExploreFortinet Solutions We Implement
FortiGate / NGFW
A next-generation firewall for perimeter security, segmentation, VPN, NAT, application control, and traffic filtering - the foundation of most Fortinet projects.
ExploreFortinet SecureSD-WAN
Combine internet connections with redundancy and prioritization of business-critical traffic for offices and branches.
ExploreIPsec VPN / SSL VPN
Connect sites securely and provide protected access for remote users and administrators.
ExploreFortiSwitch and FortiAP
Switches and access points managed directly from FortiGate via FortiLink, with a single console and consistent policies across the perimeter and access layers.
ExploreFortiAnalyzer and FortiManager
Centralized logging, reporting, event analysis, and policy management for multi-device environments.
ExploreFortiGuard Security Services
Security subscriptions for IPS, antivirus, web filtering, application control, and other protection capabilities.
ExploreWhere needed, we also integrate complementary Fortinet solutions — FortiMail, FortiWeb, FortiNAC, and FortiSASE - while our core focus remains FortiGate, NGFW, VPN, SD-WAN, and network security.
How we can help
Assesment
We analyze the current network, perimeter, VPN, and traffic.
Solution selection
We choose the FortiGate model, FortiGuard licenses, and support level based on actual requirements.
Design
We develop the architecture, including routing, VLANs, NAT, VPN, SD-WAN, and HA.
Implementation
We deploy the solution or migrate from the existing firewall.
Support
We perform testing, prepare documentation, configure logging, and support the solution after go-live.
Typical Fortinet Projects
Replacing a legacy firewall with FortiGate
We migrate and review policies, while adding VPN, SD-WAN, and traffic inspection capabilities that were previously missing.
ExploreBuilding an NGFW / FortiGate HA cluster
We deploy FortiGate in a high-availability configuration so that a single device failure does not leave the network unprotected.
ExploreVPN for branches and remote employees
We configure IPsec VPN between sites and SSL VPN for off-site access, with appropriate access controls.
ExploreMigrating SSL VPN to modern access models
We move users from SSL VPN to IPsec dial-up or ZTNA, eliminating a perimeter exposure that has been a frequent target of attacks for years.
ExploreSD-WAN for offices and branches
We combine internet connections, configure redundancy, and set traffic priorities to keep critical services stable.
ExploreFortiAnalyzer / FortiManager
We implement centralized logging, reporting, and policy management to meet security team requirements.
ExploreFortinet Licensing, Subscriptions, and Support
A Fortinet solution typically includes the hardware platform
(FortiGate), FortiCare support, FortiGuard Security Services, and often a bundle that combines the device with a set of subscriptions. FortiAnalyzer / FortiManager can be added when centralized logging and management are required.
We help you select not only the right FortiGate model, but also the appropriate combination of subscriptions and support. We take into account the number of users, traffic types, VPN, IPS, SSL inspection, logging requirements, HA, and capacity for future growth. Choosing a firewall based only on port count or price is rarely a good approach: underestimated workloads create performance bottlenecks, while unnecessary features lead to overspending.
Why Work with NEOLA
We integrate Fortinet into the company's actual network environment: routing, VLANs, NAT, VPN, SD-WAN, firewall policies, and logging.
We consider not only the device itself, but also migration, licensing, high availability, logging, and ongoing operations.
We migrate to Fortinet in a controlled way, with testing, documentation, and a rollback plan for critical changes.
F.A.Q.
Clear answers before we start
-
Which FortiGate model is right for my company?
The choice depends not on the number of ports, but on the workload: number of users, traffic types, VPN, IPS and SSL inspection requirements, logging needs, and room for growth. We select the model based on a network assessment. -
How is FortiGate different from a traditional firewall?
FortiGate is a next-generation firewall (NGFW). In addition to filtering by ports and addresses, it controls applications, inspects traffic for threats, and supports VPN, SD-WAN, and centralized management. -
Can Cisco or Palo Alto solutions be replaced with Fortinet?
Yes. Migrating to FortiGate is a common project. We analyze the existing policies, migrate them to Fortinet, test the new configuration, and prepare a rollback plan so the transition can be completed without disrupting the network. -
Does Fortinet support VPN for branches and remote users?
Yes. IPsec VPN is used to connect offices, while SSL VPN or other access models can be used for remote employees and administrators, with appropriate access controls. -
What is Fortinet Secure SD-WAN?
It is a technology for managing multiple internet connections at the same time, providing redundancy and prioritizing business-critical traffic. If one connection becomes slow or goes down, traffic can switch to another without manual intervention. -
Do we need FortiAnalyzer?
Not always. It becomes valuable when deeper logging, reporting, and event analysis are required, especially for security teams or environments with multiple devices. For smaller infrastructures, basic logging is often sufficient.
